AngioDynamics Announces Introduction Of Soft-Vu® 4F High Flow Angiographic Catheters

Queensbury, NY; July 9, 2003 – AngioDynamics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of E-Z-EM, Inc., (AMEX: EZM) announced today the introduction of Soft-Vu® 4F High Flow Angiographic Catheters—an innovative line of catheters that is used in diagnostic endovascular procedures.

Soft-Vu® 4F High Flow Angiographic Catheters have enhanced Super-Radiopaque™ soft catheter tips and a larger inner diameter—features that help provide better visualization and higher contrast flow rates, and permit the passage of a .038” guidewire. Improved visualization allows for more accurate catheter placement. The catheter tip reforms and maintains shape, even under injection pressure, resulting in reduced whipping effect while contrast is injected and reduced risk of vessel wall injury.
