OBIT/AngioDynamics Mourns Loss of Co-Founder, Director Howard S. Stern

QUEENSBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2006--AngioDynamics, Inc. (Nasdaq:ANGO) regrets to announce that Howard S. Stern, its co-founder, former chairman of the board of directors, and current director has passed away at the age of 74 after losing his battle with brain cancer.
Mr. Stern co-founded AngioDynamics in 1988 as a division of E-Z-EM, Inc. (Nasdaq:EZEM). He served as a director of the Company since its inception until his death, and was chairman of the board of directors from the Company's inception until February 2004.
